At Brilliant life Child Care, we believe that children learn best through experience. We use Creative curriculum as our method of teaching. Children learn and focus on project-based investigations as a means for children to apply skills and address in multiple areas of development. Children learn to build social and emotional skills, physical, cognitive and many other areas. Teacher will interact with children in ways that promote development and learning, foster children social competence, support children’s learning through play, create rich environments for learning, and forge strong home-school connections. We will have nature and science area, dramatic play, music and movement center, quiet/library area, and a block and building center. As per the WAC we limit screen time to years and above, and less than 5 hours a week. Screen time is always intentional and for learning purpose.

At my program, I believe that the role of the educator is to be knowledgeable. The goal of the curriculum is to teach and help nourish each child. Program activities you might see at my site include science, math, outside play, music, etc. We will focus on how we can help meet our family with different cultures, language, interests, and hobbies. Our program curriculum emphasizes activities and concepts that are age appropriate, individualized, and open-ended. I will help meet the needs of children who are Dual Language Learners, children with special needs and care. I will set up plans that will work with the family and other people that are providing care for that child.
