We are 5Stars with YoungStar, open Monday-Thursday 6:30-4:30, open since November 2017. Many various qualifications in addition to my Early Childhood Education degree. We are a shoe free, screen free, battery free daycare. What does this mean? Shoe free means we know that little fingers crawl and play on these floors, and we recognize little hands go in mouths. Screen free meaning no tablets, phones, TVs or computers for their young eyes. We instead focus on play & learning in the environment(s) we are in. Battery free means we do not have any toys that are battery operated. Children learn best with hands on play and imagination, not by pushing buttons and getting an automated response. All enrolled families are invited to our private Facebook page on their first day, where we post daily/weekly photos and an outline of our day/week. We have monthly newsletters & family gathering opportunities. For reviews and any further information, find me on Google. Call to schedule a tour to be placed on our waitlist (step 1). When an opening comes available, all families on the waitlist are brought in for an interview (step 2). From there, the best fit child & family are selected to be enrolled. As a family center, we want the best fit family, and not just the next in line. There is no order to our waitlist. If your family is selected, complete and submit all paperwork in given time frame (step 3).
