Better Together provides a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that honors, respects, and celebrates all children and families of diverse backgrounds. We encourage diversity and the sharing of thoughts and ideas to create a learning environment that is responsive to the needs of all young children. Our mission is to help provide high quality play-based learning for children by having developmentally appropriate activities and materials that meet the needs, skills, and abilities of each child individually while guiding them through their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Vision-

Better Together Bilingual Family Childcare’s vision is to create a space for all children and families to feel welcomed and supported in the care setting. Building a community that supports one another through the growth and learning of both the children and families. Our vision is to promote a classroom that supports the diversity and multiculturalism of all children and families that inspires all to celebrate, teach, and also learn about our differences as well. Representing through different activities, materials, books, music etc. that teach young children about one another and their background.

Communication-

Better Together believes in the importance of positive and good communication with all families, children, and staff. It is important to have good communication with families to ensure the best quality care for children entering our in-home care. Allowing families to express their thoughts, opinions, and ideas to staff at Better Together can help create a stronger bond with families and allow families to see their ideas are being heard. Better Together provides scheduled conferences, emails, written newsletters, playgroups and parent bulletin boards. Daily sheets are provided for children less than one year of age.
